3. Ginger. Ginger has long been known to aid with stomach problems. FOOD says to combine a teaspoon of fresh grated ginger with 1 teaspoon of lime juice and drink it after a meal.
4. Apple cider vinegar. Strangely enough, apple cider vinegar may be good for quickly relieving gas. It also encourages digestion of food, Medical News Today says to try mixing 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water and drinking it before your meals.
5. Lime and baking soda. To help with digestion and reduce gas after a meal, FOOD says to combine 1 teaspoon lime juice with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Mix this in a glass of water and drink it after you eat. Bel Marra Health says you can replace the lime juice with lemon juice if you want.
6. Coconut water. Coconut water is growing in popularity as people are spreading the health benefits of it. To help keep yourself regular and reduce gas, Bel Marra Health says to drink it daily.
7. Peppermint.Another time-honored remedy for gas and stomach problems is peppermint. Medical News Today reminds you that taking enteric-coated capsules is the best way to consume the peppermint to keep from developing other problems, like heartburn.
8. Buttermilk. You know you can make a killer ranch dressing with buttermilk, but were you aware that it's great for digestive issues? Bel Marra Health says that freshly churned buttermilk is the best.
